Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 19 June 2026. Effective immediately.
1. Plain-English summary
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and end up buying something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to things we genuinely use or recommend. Affiliate revenue does not influence which combos we feature, how we rank them, or what we write in blog posts. We mark every affiliate link clearly so you can tell which ones are monetised before you click.
2. Amazon Associates program
dbdperkcombos.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and other Amazon sites.
This means some links on this site - particularly when we recommend gaming accessories, controllers, headsets, monitors, or Dead by Daylight DLC packs - are Amazon affiliate links. When you click one and add a qualifying item to your cart or check out within 24 hours, Amazon pays us a small percentage (typically 1-4% of the item price, depending on category). The price you pay is unchanged.
Our current Amazon tracking ID is 111111702-20
(US storefront, amazon.com). All Amazon links generated by this
site include this tag. If we add a UK, DE, ES, or other regional storefront
in the future, that storefront name will be added to the footer disclosure
on every page of this site so the link is identifiable at a glance.
The Amazon Associates program is governed by the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement and the Associates Program Policies.
3. Ko-fi support
We display a Ko-fi button in the footer. Ko-fi is a tip-platform run by Ko-fi Labs Ltd (UK). If you click the button and send us a tip, Ko-fi keeps a small processing fee (their published rates are on their pricing page) and passes the rest to us. We receive no data about who tipped us unless they also write us a message.
Ko-fi tips are voluntary and do not unlock any content. We do not sell "memberships" or "perks" on this site. Every perk combo and every blog post is free to read regardless of whether you ever tip.
4. Editorial independence
We are not paid by Behaviour Interactive, by any perk developer, or by any gaming peripheral manufacturer. Our perk-combo rankings come from hand-testing in actual matches. Our blog posts reflect our honest assessment of the meta, not what any sponsor wants us to say.
If we ever accept a paid review or sponsored post, it will be marked with a clear "Sponsored" label at the top of the article, before any content begins. We have not accepted any such arrangement to date.
5. How affiliate links are identified
We mark affiliate links in three ways:
- Visual styling. Affiliate links share a distinct amber underline colour and an "(affiliate)" tooltip on hover.
-
URL prefix. Outbound affiliate links go through our redirect
at
go.dbdperkcombos.com/<slug>, which 302-redirects to the merchant with our tag appended. Plain (non-monetised) outbound links go directly to the destination. - Footer disclosure. Every page footer carries a short statement explaining that the site contains affiliate links.
If you ever spot a link that should be marked as affiliate but isn't, please email us at hello@dbdperkcombos.com and we will fix it.
6. FTC compliance (US readers)
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission's 2013 Dot Com Disclosures guidance and the Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). Material connections between advertisers and endorsers - including affiliate commissions - must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. We use the disclosure language above and the link-marking methods in §5 to satisfy that requirement.
7. Portuguese consumer-law compliance (EU readers)
Portugal's consumer-protection regime (DECO / Direção-Geral do Consumidor) and EU Directive 2005/29/EC (Unfair Commercial Practices Directive) both require that material information - including any payment or consideration flowing from the trader to the content creator for a recommendation - be provided before the consumer makes a transactional decision. The disclosure above is positioned to satisfy that requirement.
If you are a Portuguese consumer and feel we have not adequately disclosed a commercial relationship, you can file a complaint with:

8. Future AdSense / programmatic ads
When this site applies to and is accepted into Google AdSense (or any similar programmatic ad network), display ads will be served. Those ads will only appear after you have clicked "Accept all" on the cookie banner; if you choose "Essential only", ads will not load and we will not earn display-ad revenue from your visit.
Programmatic ads are selected by Google's auction, not by us. We do not pre-approve, endorse, or take payment for any specific ad. Affiliate links on this site (Amazon, Ko-fi) operate independently of AdSense.
9. Endorsement disclaimer
"Dead by Daylight" is a trademark of Behaviour Interactive Inc. References to perk names, killer names, survivor names, and chapter names on this site are for commentary and educational reference only. This site is unofficial and not endorsed by or affiliated with Behaviour Interactive.
Any product linked from this site via an Amazon affiliate link is sold and shipped by Amazon (or a third-party seller on Amazon's marketplace). We do not manufacture, warranty, or take returns on those products. Product specifications, pricing, and availability are controlled by the seller and may change without notice.
10. Changes to this disclosure
We update this page when we add a new affiliate programme, change how we mark affiliate links, or change our editorial-independence policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
