The build

These four perks work together as a hex killer setup. Each slot has a job; together they form a closed loop.

Why it works

Hex: Ruin regresses all generators automatically when no Survivor is repairing them - the single most powerful slowdown in the game. Hex: Devour Hope gives you an instadown (Exposed status) after hooking 2/3/4 Survivors, making every chase a one-hit. Hex: The Third Seal blinds Survivors you hit, causing them to see auras of other Survivors as 'cursed' and lose vision of your aura. Hex: Undying transfers the first Hex's power to another dull totem when the original is destroyed, buying you 30 extra seconds. With Undying protecting Ruin, the build has a 30+ second buffer against totem-hunting. The risk: a coordinated Survivor team with Counterforce and Detective's Hunch can dismantle this in under a minute.

Patch notes

Targeted at patch 10.0.0 (released 16 June 2026). The Slasher (Jason Voorhees) and his three launch perks appear in this build. We refresh this page after every major balance patch - if a perk has been nerfed or buffed since 10.0.0, the "Why it works" section is the first place we update.
