Description
This description is based on the changes announced for or featured in the upcoming Patch 7.2.0You are so stealthy, sometimes it seems like you appear out of nowhere.
Whenever you hook a Survivor, Alien Instinct activates:
- The Aura of the farthest injured Survivor is revealed to you for 5 seconds.
- That Survivor suffers from the Oblivious Status Effect for 16/18/20 seconds.

Aura perk. Aura perks reveal or hide Auras (visual indicators of Survivor or object locations). The meta game of aura reading is core to DBD.
How to use it Alien Instinct is most useful in the early game when Survivors are spread across the map. Use the aura info to cut off rotations and force bad chases.
Best for Killers with strong tracking instincts or Survivors who want to play the aura-hiding game.
