Press and hold the Active Ability button on a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem.
Soft chimes ring out in a radius of 24 metres.
All Survivors benefit from the following effects when inside the Boon Totem's radius:
- Grants a +2 % Haste Status Effect.
- This effect lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the Boon Totem's range.
Only one Totem can be blessed by your Boon Perks at a time and all of their effects are active on the same Boon Totem.
Our take
Bless a Dull or Hex Totem and everyone inside its 24 metre radius picks up a +2% Haste Status Effect that sticks for 2/3/4 seconds after they step out. It is a flat 2% that every teammate gets simply for standing there, and it only applies to Totems your own Boon Perks have blessed.
How to use it Reasonable as a team-wide top-up for a group that rotates through a common area, since 2% applies to everyone at once. Worthless on its own in a spread out team, where few of them will be near the Totem.
Best for Lithe, Adrenaline and Sprint Burst are its partners, all of them dealing in the same movement currency. A small passive speed edge covering the whole squad at a meeting point is the scenario.
