Our take
Breaking a Pallet with a Basic Attack during a chase makes every Survivor within 13 metres scream and pick up an 11/12/13 Hindered Status Effect for 3 seconds. The radius is tight and 11/12/13 Hindered is not a speed percentage, so the real gain is the scream giving away a location rather than the hinder itself.
How to use it It pays off on drops where the team is stacked behind the Pallet. Skip it when the nearest Survivor is beyond 13 metres, since then the scream and the hinder never happen.
Best for It works in the same window as Silent Shadow, Rampage and Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, which all exploit a moment when survivors are already exposed. The right pick is a killer who breaks a Pallet as part of the chase.
