Object of Obsession
He was watching me! - Laurie Strode
Description
A supernatural bond links you to the Killer.
Whenever the Killer reads your Aura, Object of Obsession activates for the same duration as their Aura-reading action:
- The Aura of the Killer is revealed to you.
- Increases your Action speeds for Cleansing, Healing, and Repairing actions by 2/4/6 %.
If you are the Killer's current Obsession, the following effect triggers automatically every 30 seconds:
- Your Aura is revealed to the Killer for 3 seconds.
Increases your chance of becoming the initial Obsession by increasing the default value by +100 %.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Our take
Whenever the Killer reads your Aura you see theirs for the same stretch, and Cleansing, Healing and Repairing speed up by 2/4/6%. Being their current Obsession makes it fire every 30 seconds, except each pulse also shows your Aura to them for 3 seconds and raises your odds of being the initial Obsession by 100%.
How to use it Choose it only if you are willing to be the visible one, since being the Obsession is what makes the 30 second pulses repeat. Avoid it when staying unseen is the plan.
Best for This is the reverse of Dark Sense, A Nurse's Calling, Bloodhound and Beast of Prey, which all work by keeping a Killer from seeing you. Here the Killer sees you and you see them.
