Quick Gambit
Description
When you have the Killer's attention, you know how to keep it; others can be confident they will not be interrupted any time soon. While being chased by the Killer, the following effects apply: - The Auras of other Survivors are revealed to you. - Increases the Repair speed of other Survivors by 3/4/5%. Quick Gambit has a cool-down of 60 seconds upon losing a Health State. "We need not resort to violence. And I shall prove it." - Vittorio Toscano
Our take
Survivor perk. Info perk. Quick Gambit turns the chase into a generator boost - other survivors repair 5% faster while you are actively chased for the team value.
How to use it Pair Quick Gambit with Deja Vu so the aura reveal lets teammates find the right 3-gen to repair during the chase window for value across the team.
Best for Chase-support builds where you take the chase for the team. Pairs with Prove Thyself for the meta repair-speed stack and Deja Vu coverage on rotations.

- Sprint Burst - Gives you the chase speed boost so the Quick Gambit repair bonus stays active longer per chase.

Counters
Perks and effects that work against Quick Gambit:
- Thanatophobia - Stacked regression partially offsets the Quick Gambit repair boost, slowing the team's generator push.
- Barbecue & Chili - Reveals the Quick Gambit user when the chase ends and the killer rotates to a hook.
- Franklin's Demise - Drops items, breaking the repair chain that Quick Gambit supports.
What wiki.gg doesn't tell you
Quick Gambit is one of the strongest chase-support perks because the 5% repair boost at tier 3 stacks with Prove Thyself and other repair perks. The 60 second cooldown on health loss is the longest cooldown on a chase perk in the survivor kit. The trick nobody documents: Quick Gambit reveals other survivors' auras to the user only, not the team, so it is best for solo queue players who need to route repairs - I have used this aura read to find teammates on a 3-gen across the map. At high MMR, Quick Gambit is rated B tier because the repair boost is small but consistent. Pair with Prove Thyself and Deja Vu for the meta repair-support stack.
FAQ
- Does Quick Gambit work outside chase?
- No. Quick Gambit only activates while you are being chased. Out of chase, the perk does nothing.
- Does Quick Gambit work after going down?
- No. The 60 second cooldown on health loss starts when you take damage. Going down resets the chase state.
- What is the Quick Gambit repair boost?
- 3% at tier 1, 4% at tier 2, 5% at tier 3. The boost only applies to other survivors, not the Quick Gambit user.
- Is Quick Gambit good with Prove Thyself?
- Yes. Both are repair perks and stack. Prove Thyself boosts team repairs while Quick Gambit adds the chase bonus.
