Our take
Whenever the Killer is carrying someone, Hooks within 56 metres of their original pick-up location light up, white for normal Hooks and yellow for Scourge Hooks, and Hook sabotage becomes available without a Toolbox at 30% extra speed. That bonus has a 70/65/60 second cool-down, and the aura only appears while someone is being carried.
How to use it Best without a Toolbox, where the 30% sabotage speed is the whole point. The Hook auras still need a moment when the Killer is carrying someone.
Best for Dark Sense and Bloodhound are for the earlier game, when the problem is finding the Killer. Beast of Prey is the one that lines up with the carried-survivor window.
