- Causes you to hear the sporadic whispers of The Entity, indicating a Survivor's presence.
Whenever any Survivor is outside 28/26/24 metres of your location:
- Gain +7 % Haste Status Effect.
Our take
You hear The Entity's whispers whenever a Survivor is within 28/26/24 metres of you, which is your only warning that someone is close. When nobody is inside that radius you pick up 7 percent Haste, so the perk pays you for the moments when the lobby is spread out and you are free to move.
How to use it Since the 10.2.0 overhaul the detection radius was pulled in from 48/40/32 metres to 28/26/24, which means the whispers now tell you that someone is very close rather than somewhere on the map. Read them as a proximity alarm, and use the Haste on the rotations where nobody is nearby.
Best for Pairs with the chase perks that want to close distance quickly, such as Dark Arrogance and Unbound, where knowing where the nearest Survivor is matters more than knowing where everyone is.
