When healing a Survivor in the Dying State, Buckle Up activates:
- The Aura of the Killer is revealed to the both of you.
- Completing a Healing Action on the dying Survivor suppresses their Scratch Marks and grants them a +50 % Haste Status Effect for 3/4/5 seconds.
Buckle Up does not cause the Exhausted Status Effect.

Our take
Heal someone out of the Dying State and the Killer's Aura is revealed to both of you, then that Survivor gets their Scratch Marks suppressed plus a +50% Haste Status Effect for 3/4/5 seconds. It costs no Exhausted at all, but the whole thing only fires on a Dying State heal.
How to use it A wasted slot unless your team actually goes down together, because a normal heal does nothing for it. The reward is that the rescued player leaves clean and moving, and you never pay Exhausted for that.
Best for Pair it with the healing line, Self Care, Second Wind, Botany Knowledge and Hope, and the slots cover healing from one direction to the other. The first player to whoever goes down is the one who gets value from this.
