Each time a Generator is completed, the Auras of Generators, Chests and Totems within 32/48/64 metres are revealed to you for 10 seconds, and a held Map tracks them automatically. Every completion gives you a fresh pulse instead of a permanent read.
How to use it Take it when you are running between objectives with a Map in hand. Hold it if you leave the Map behind, since the automatic tracking only helps the one you are carrying.
Best for Dark Sense and A Nurse's Calling reveal the Killer instead of objects, and Bloodhound and Beast of Prey are the other options. Detective's Hunch is the pick for clearing Totems without wandering blind.
