Whenever you unlock or rummage through a Chest, Specialist gains +1 Token, up to a maximum of 6 Tokens:
- Succeeding a Great Repair Skill Check while repairing a Generator consumes all Tokens.
- Permanently reduces the Repair Charges requirement of that Generator by 2/3/4 Charges per Token, up to a maximum of 12/18/24 Charges.

Our take
Unlock or rummage through a Chest and you add a Token, up to 6, and a single Great Repair Skill Check spends all of them to permanently cut that Generator's Repair Charges requirement by 2/3/4 per Token, up to 12/18/24. The Tokens are gone the moment you use them, and Chests are the only source.
How to use it Needs Chests opened before a long repair, since that is the only Token source. Save the Great Skill Check for a Generator you will be on a while.
Best for Hyperfocus and Cross-Examination want a long uninterrupted repair, which is when a permanent cut pays. Fast Track and Quick Gambit deal with the same Generator from the other side.
