Our take
While repairing, Technician cuts your Repair noise range by 8 metres and removes the explosion and Loud Noise Notification when a Skill Check fails. The cost sits on the same line, since a failure also instantly regresses the Generator by 5/4/3% of its maximum possible Progression on top of the normal penalty.
How to use it Makes sense for a Survivor whose biggest threat is being found mid-repair, because the failure is silent but not free. It does nothing once you step off the Generator.
Best for All three generator perks here, Prove Thyself and Blast Mine included, reward the same thing. It is for builds where noise matters more than a clean Skill Check record.
