- Grants the ability to perform a successful Self-Unhook at any point during the first Hook Stage, if you are hooked in the Basement.

Our take
Unhooking yourself or being unhooked reveals the Killer's Aura for 16/18/20 seconds, and being hooked in the Basement lets you attempt a Self-Unhook at any point in the first Hook Stage. That escape does not work in the second Hook Stage or when you are hooked as the Last Survivor Standing.
How to use it Carries a Survivor who is often left to rescue themselves, since the Aura reveal only arrives after an unhook. On the hook, it is the Basement escape doing the work.
Best for Eyes of Belmont and Dark Sense are the pure Aura options, and Poised is the other protection pick. The one for a Survivor whose worst moments happen on the hook.
