This description is based on the changes announced for or featured in the upcoming Patch 7.1.0A deep bond with The Entity unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability.
- After hooking a Survivor, all Survivors who are at least 60/50/40 metres away from that Hook have their Aura revealed to you for 5 seconds.

Aura perk. Aura perks reveal or hide Auras (visual indicators of Survivor or object locations). The meta game of aura reading is core to DBD.
How to use it Barbecue & Chilli is most useful in the early game when Survivors are spread across the map. Use the aura info to cut off rotations and force bad chases.
Best for Killers with strong tracking instincts or Survivors who want to play the aura-hiding game.
