Knock Out
Oh, that gun's no good. The old way... with a sledge! You see, that way's better. They die better that way. - Nubbins Sawyer
Description
This description is based on the changes announced for or featured in the upcoming Patch 6.1.0The trauma caused by your brutal attacks makes crying for help painfully difficult.
Putting a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack blocks their Aura from being revealed to any Survivor, who is farther than 32/24/16 metres away from them.
For the next 15 seconds, the following effects apply to the dying Survivor:
- Reduces their Field of View and causes them to be deafened.
- Suffers from the Blindness Status Effect.
- Reduces the Crawling speed by -50 %.
- Reduces the Recovery speed by -25 %.

Our take
Aura perk. Aura perks reveal or hide Auras (visual indicators of Survivor or object locations). The meta game of aura reading is core to DBD.
How to use it Knock Out is most useful in the early game when Survivors are spread across the map. Use the aura info to cut off rotations and force bad chases.
Best for Killers with strong tracking instincts or Survivors who want to play the aura-hiding game.
