Our take
Hooking the Obsession grants you the Undetectable Status Effect and a +5% Haste Status Effect for 14/16/18 seconds. Rescue costs you the Obsession, because whoever pulls them off the Hook becomes the new one, so the buff has to be spent before the team steps in.
How to use it Grab it when you can control the Hook and cut before the rescue arrives. Save it for matches where a rescuer is always one button away, because the timer only runs while the Obsession stays yours.
Best for It pairs with Borrowed Time, Kindred, Lucky Break and For the People, the perks that decide who is standing in front of you at a hook. The right pick is a killer who needs one specific person on that hook.
