Grim Embrace
Are we nothing but prisoners to our sorrow? - Carmina Mora
Description
Your act of servitude to The Entity has not gone unnoticed.
Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, Grim Embrace gains +1 Token and activates once you are at least 16 metres away from the Hook:
- 1-3 Tokens: Blocks all Generators for 6/8/10 seconds.
- 4 Tokens: Blocks all Generators for 40 seconds and the Aura of the Obsession is revealed to you for 6 seconds.

Our take
Each first-time hook gives Grim Embrace one Token, and once you are at least 16 metres from that Hook all Generators are blocked, for 6/8/10 seconds at 1-3 Tokens or a flat 40 seconds at 4 Tokens. Four Tokens also reveals the Obsession's Aura for 6 seconds, but the effect needs you off the Hook when it fires.
How to use it Only take it if you hook often and can walk away from the Hook. Skip it for a camp, because at 16 metres the trigger never fires.
Best for Build it around Corrupt Intervention, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Bamboozle and Eruption, all of which already punish time spent on Generators and rescues. The right pick is a killer who would rather sit through a block than hold a Generator.
