Our take
Lose a Survivor in a chase and their Aura lights up for 4 seconds. The cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds means a Survivor who keeps breaking away can only be re-marked after that stretch has passed.
How to use it Chase with intent, because the reveal only comes from a clean break. Pointless in a match where nobody is escaping you.
Best for Beast of Prey and Bloodhound sit with it as the other two chase reads. A Nurse's Calling is worth considering when the last Generator is nearly done.
