Wiretap
Description
This description is based on the changes announced for or featured in the upcoming Patch 8.2.0You know that the best way to stay one step ahead is to keep tabs on the competition.
After repairing Generators for a total of 40 %, Wiretap activates:
- Press the Active Ability button while near a partially progressed Generator to install a Trap, which stays active for 100/110/120 seconds.
- Whenever the Killer comes within 14 metres of the Trapped Generator their Aura is revealed to all Survivors.
Wiretap deactivates after the Generator is damaged or once the timer runs out.
The Auras of Trapped Generators are revealed to all Survivors in yellow.
Our take
Generator Regression perk. Generator regression perks slow down the Survivor's main objective. Even one regress can be the difference between gens popping and gens stalling.
How to use it Hit gens that Survivors are actively working on. The longer they have been worked, the more value Wiretap provides. Don't tap fresh gens - the progress loss is wasted.
Best for Pressure-oriented Killers who want to keep Survivors off the objective without camping.
