Description
Where others see junk, you see valuable improvised tools.
While holding a depleted Toolbox, Scavenger activates:
- Succeeding at Great Repairing Skill Checks grants 1 Token, up to a maximum of 5 Tokens.
- Reaching the maximum number of Tokens automatically consumes them and fully recharges the Toolbox.
- Recharging a Toolbox will reduce your Repair speed by -50 % for the next 40/35/30 seconds.
Scavenger grants the ability to rummage through an opened Chest once per Trial and will guarantee a basic Toolbox.

Our take
With an empty Toolbox in hand, Great Repair Skill Checks fill it with Tokens up to 5, then all five are spent at once to fully recharge it. The recharging costs you 50% Repair speed for 40/35/30 seconds, and the Chest rummage for a guaranteed basic Toolbox is a once per Trial thing.
How to use it Made for Toolbox runs, where an empty box is the only state that does anything. The 50% repair tax for 40/35/30 seconds makes it a poor fit for a fast repair.
Best for Appraisal and Built to Last deal with the Chest itself, which is where the free Toolbox comes from. Ace in the Hole and Exultation fit a loot-heavy run.
