You reveal the true power of the Totems, hidden within their remains. - You see the Auras of cleansed Totems. You can perform a ritual on a cleansed Totem to resurrect it as a Rekindled Totem. For each Rekindled Totem active at the same time, Hex: Pentimento gains an additional effect: - 1 Totem: reduces all Survivors' Repair speed by 20/25/30 %. - 2 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Healing speed by 20/25/30 %. - 3 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Recovery speed from being downed by 20/25/30 %. - 4 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Gate-Opening speed by 20/25/30 %. - 5 Totems: all Totems are permanently blocked by The Entity. The trick nobody documents well: Hex Pentimento stacks with other survivor Hex perks because they occupy different totem slots - you can run Pentimento, Blood Favour, and another Survivor Hex together, which is something I have tested myself and confirmed. At high MMR, Pentimento is rated B tier because survivors usually focus on generators, not totem rituals. Pair with Small Game on totem-heavy maps like Lampkin Lane or the Game where multiple totems spawn close together, which gives you a faster path to the full 3-totem debuff stack.
