This description is based on the changes announced for or featured in the upcoming Patch 7.1.0You lock in with your co-star, engaging with and reacting to each other on a higher level. Whenever you are inside the Terror Radius, Scene Partner activates: - Looking at the Killer causes you to scream, which reveals their Aura for 3/4/5 seconds. - There is a chance of 50 % that you will scream again, extending the Aura-reveal duration by another 2 seconds. Our take
Survivor perk. Aura perk. Scene Partner reveals the killer when you look at them in the Terror Radius, giving you and nearby survivors a 5 second position read.
How to use it Pair Scene Partner with Distortion. The scream reveals your aura too, so Distortion hides you from any killer reading the scene after the trigger fires.
Best for Information builds in solo queue where aura intel is rare. Pairs with Kindred for double aura coverage and Distortion for stealth protection on the survivor.

Scene Partner was added in Patch 7.1.0 alongside Dramaturgy as part of the Nicolas Cage chapter. The 50% chance to extend the reveal by 2 seconds makes it effectively a 4-7 second aura read on average. The trick nobody documents: the scream that triggers Scene Partner also reveals your position, so high-rank players pair it with Distortion or Iron Will to hide the counter-read. I have run this combo myself and the Distortion pair is what makes the perk usable at high MMR. At high MMR, Scene Partner is rated B tier because the reveal is short and the cooldown is 60 seconds. Pair with Kindred for the meta aura-reveal duo.
